RBMVE Biographical Note: Ray Garner was a photographer and filmmaker from Brooklyn, NY who participated in the 1937 RBMVE. The RBMVE was Garner’s first major step in realizing his goal of becoming a professional documentary filmmaker. The footage he took during the 1937 field season led to the completion of the promotional film about the RBMVE entitled, “Adventure Bound,” produced by Ford Motor. Co. and RBMVE Director Ansel F. Hall.
