RBMVE Biographical Note: Horace M. Albright, then Director of the National Park Service, was a member of the RBMVE Advisory Board. Joseph C. Antrim of Worthington, Ohio participated in the 1936 RBMVE as an archaeologist. William Bayne Beauchamp of Honolulu, Hawaii participated in the 1935 RBMVE as the head of river exploration. James T. Pyle of Far Hills, New Jersey participated in the 1933 RBMVE as an assistant on the mapping and geology team. Joseph G. Kaye of New York, New York participated in the 1933 RBMVE as an artist working with the archaeologists. Norman D. Nevills of Mexican Hat, Utah participated in the 1933 RBMVE as an assistant of the mapping team and archaeologists. Nevills went on to be a commercial river guide. Robert E. Burton, then employee of the USDA Division of Plant Field Exploration, participated in the 1934 RBMVE as the head botanist and biologist. William M. Gaylor was a high school teacher from White Plains, NY, participated in the 1933 and 1934 RBMVE as an assistant on the mapping team.
