Aton papers (1829-2006) consist of articles, maps, newspapers, and book excerpts dealing with the natural history, archaeology, ecology, and early settlement of Southern Utah. The papers also include manuscript drafts, correspondence, and photograph use information pertaining to the writing of River Flowing from the Sunrise: An Environmental History of the Lower San Juan by James Aton and Robert McPherson.”
