Last week we had our Fall Southwest Fundraising Trip, and wow, what a success! We had a delicious BBQ dinner in Page, Arizona, a full day at the Hopi Reservation full of stunning drives and tours with local artisans and an exciting day of driving through canyons. Flip through our album of photos to see more details!

Our first night with BBQ and live music in Page!

Our tour with Hopi guide Marlinda. We began at the Hopi Cultural Center and then she showed us Prophecy Rock, where she talked about the Hopi creation story and other Hopi traditions. We also visited the house of Rainy Naha who is a famous ceramic artist and Roy Talahaftewa’s studio where he does his work as a metalsmith.

On our third day we took a beautiful drive into the canyons and did some hiking.

The rest of our trip we focused on image asset gathering. This meant many long and challenging hikes to beautiful areas and lots of exciting work that we will be showing you in the future!
